Super Mario Party Food
One of the main consideration for any type of party is the food that will be served. Will you be serving Lunch or Dinner? What about snacks? Cake? etc... The best thing to do is determine which meal you will serve. This depends upon the starting time. We recommend serving 'simple' food that can either be purchased or prepared ahead of time like hamburgers or hotdogs. Remember, that Mario and Luigi are from Italy so serving any sort of Italian food is always a good idea. This includes pizza, pasta or lasagna. It is important to be aware of the dietary requirements of each child before the party!
The other consideration at any birthday party is the cake or dessert. You will definitely want to have a Super Mario Bros themed cake or cupcake. If you are considering a cake you can buy a Super Mario cake pan mold from eBay for relatively cheap. Another option is to simply bake a rectangular cake and put a super mario cake image on the top. These images look great as it will really customize the cake and don't take too long to create. The final option is to make cupcakes and put a Super Mario cupcake decoration on the top of them. Any of these options the kids will love because it'll be a sugar filled dessert.

HOw do you change the Happy Birthday message on the edible cake items before you order it. Like it says happy 5th birthday but I want it to say 4th???

hi there, doing a super mario bros party for my son in nov. does anyone know of a site i can down load templates of the characters i can put on the walls. any suggestions for decorating are greatly appreciated.
There are lots of coloring websites that have black and white super mario coloring pages that you can print. Also if you google mario you can get pictures of images that you can save as jpegs and print off pictures of to use for decorating. I too am planning a party for my son in Nov. We made our own chocolate bar wrapper for the goodie bags, also Micheals Craft store had mario candie there ( like pez dispensors) for a nice touch. we plan to play mario kart wii and put the 8 kids on teams.
